Birkbeck, University of London
I’m delighted to be teaching as an Associate Tutor again this year (my third) at the heart of its Bloomsbury campus in central London. The institution comes with a well-earned and distinguished reputation in teaching and research across the arts, humanities and film.
The degrees that I am teaching on – the BA in English Literature, the BA in Arts & Humanities and an MA in Screen Writing – are challenging. They will stretch your mind, open you up to new writers and ideas and help you develop new writing styles. This applies if you are tacking introductory modules in your first year as an undergraduate, consolidating your work at Level 5 or stepping up a gear on the MA.
From October, as well as weekly posts for students on the Birkbeck Moodle, I will be setting up a blog with postings on this site that tie in with my wider interests in modernism, cultural theory and screen adaptation.
